Prof. Walter is a Professor in the Law Department where she teaches contracts law and health law. She has published widely in both areas. The focus of her latest publications has centered on medical-ethical /legal issues. Her current research interests include an examination of the legal status of frozen embryos as well as an evaluation of the doctrine of informed consent as it relates to organ procurement. Prof. Walter is the recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award given by the business school at Baruch College.
