Dr. Ann Cohen Brandwein is a tenured full professor in the Department of Statistics/CIS in the Zicklin School of Business. She teaches graduates courses for and actively participants in the MBA Program in Healthcare Administration, the Full-Time Honors MBA Program, and the Executive MBA Program. In addition, she is a member of the Baruch Ph.D. faculty and has taught several courses for the Baruch Ph.D. students.

Professor Brandwein received the Presidential Excellence Award for Distinguished Teaching in 2002 and the Presidential Excellence Award for Service in 2005. Her research work in the area of multivariate point estimation for spherically symmetric distributions is quite well known, with numerous citations in the statistical literature.

From 1993 – 2006 Professor Brandwein was an Associate Editor for the Theory and Methods Section of the Journal of the American Statistical Association, which is one of the most prestigious journals in the field of statistic.
